(ATLANTIC) Arraignment hearings were held today for three men in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in Atlantic on January 28th.
18-year-old Bryce Baker, 21-year-old Austin Nelson and 23-year-old Mykel Thoren were each charged with Willful Injury and Going Armed with Intent.
The Cass County Clerk of Court says Austin Nelson entered a plea of guilty to an amended charge of Accessory after the Fact. He was given a two-year suspended prison sentence.
Bryce Baker and Mykel Thoren each entered a written arraignment and plea of not guilty. They are now set for a pre-trial conference on March 11th.
The charges stem from a stabbing incident on January 28th in Atlantic. Police were called to an area near 1011 Birch Street in regards to a fight in progress. When Officers arrived they found several subjects fleeing the area. Officers also found 43-year-old Robert Leslie suffering from puncture and slashing wounds. He was treated at CCMH.
