(AUDUBON) Audubon County Engineer Mitch Rydl says his staff spent Wednesday afternoon gearing up for what they expect to be a busy day today.
“Just making sure everything is operational. Getting their chains on and getting their front plows on. Making sure spinners are work and their trucks are working, making sure everything operational.”
Of course it’ll be all hands on deck today.
“We have ten patrols out and then we'll have six snow plow trucks covering our highways.”
Rydl says be patient if things aren’t cleared off right away.
With the blowing snow it just doesn't do any good we just kind of wait until things calm down and then we go out there and hit it as hard as we can.”
