(Atlantic) Jury selection begins tomorrow (Tuesday) in Cass County for a Cherokee man accused of attempted murder.
Court records state that 38-year-old Timothy Russell, who faces charges of Attempted Murder, Willful Injury and Going Armed with Intent.
Russell was arrested in September of 2012 for Public Intoxication, Willful Injury, and Assault with Willful Injury. He was taken to the Cass County Jail and released by a magistrate Judge.
Then shortly after his arrest, Russell was arrested on Attempted Murder Charges. Police say Russell was asked to leave an Atlantic residence and allegedly returned with a hammer and a sharp object and allegedly assaulted one of the residents injuring the victim.
