(DENISON) February is National Children’s Dental Health Month.
Sharon Davidson, Dental Hygienist and I-Smile Coordinator with Crawford County Public Health, would like to remind parents that children’s teeth are meant to last a lifetime and a healthy smile is important to a child’s self esteem.
Davidson said with proper care, children’s teeth can remain healthy and strong.
“A balanced diet, limited snacks, daily brushing and flossing, and regular dental checkups starting by age one are the keys to a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums,” said Davidson.
