(Corning) A Colorado man was arrested Friday evening in rural Adams County for possession of a large quantity of marijuana.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Quentin J. Shehan, of Black Hawk, Colorado, faces charges of Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid license, no insurance, and no drug tax stamp.
Adams County Deputies stopped Shehan on 250th and Elm Street at around 8:36 p.m. Deputies contacted the Adams County K-9 Unit to assist. The K-9 alerted that narcotics were in the vehicle. Upon further investigation Shehan was found to be in control of a large amount of marijuana and a large amount of cash.
Shehan was arrested and transported to the Adams County Jail where he is awaiting a court appearance.
