(HARLAN) A Harlan teen has been charged with theft for allegedly taking money from the Fareway Food Store. The Harlan Police Department says 17-year-old Mackenzie Robinson was arrested on January 3rd for 2nd Degree Theft and Ongoing Criminal Conduct. Robinson allegedly took just under $10,000 over the course of four months.
In other activity, 18-year-old Robert Berding, of Council Bluffs, was arrested on January 5th when he allegedly took a hand gun from one of the dealers at the gun show held at Veteran’s Auditorium. Berding was charged with 4th Degree Theft.
On January 7th, Officers were called to the 1000 block of Court Street for an alleged burglary where the door had been kicked in. As a result of the investigation, a complaint was sent to the Shelby County Clerk of Court charging 25-year-old Paul Zimmerman, of Panama, with 4th Degree Criminal Mischief.
