(Atlantic) The Cass County Road crew were out way before dawn this morning. The plows have cleared all the hard surface roads and have turned their attention to the gravel roads.
Cass County Engineer Charles Marker says motorists that choose to travel can expect high drifts and white out conditions.
"You can drive for a quarter of a mile and it's pretty good and then you hit a White out and you never know when you are going to hit one of those drifts that are bumper deep." stated Marker. "It's extremely dangerous out there."
Marker says the road crews will continue to try and open these gravel roads up and hopes the wind works with 'em.
Marker says motorists are putting themselves in danger if they try and travel on the gravel roads.
