(Greenfield) The United States Postal Service is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those connected with the mail theft in Adair County that occurred December 6.
Adair County Sheriff Brad Newton reported earlier this week that vandals took mail from about 40-mailboxes between Greenfield and Stuart late last week. The thieves sorted through the mail searching for Christmas cards that contained cash, and then ditched the rest if the items.
Newton says they are looking for two suspects described as white males that were traveling in a mid-sized vehicle.
If anyone has any information in regards to this crime contact the U.S. Postal Inspectors at 1-877-876-2455. The U.S. Postal Service is offering a $500 reward that leads to the arrested of those involved.
