(Atlantic) A public hearing was held at last night’s Atlantic City Council meeting. The topic of discussion was the speed limit on 22nd Street between Chestnut and Palm. Local residents would like to see the speed limit lowered however no action was taken.
Atlantic Mayor Dave Jones says the city will likely have an engineering survey conducted to determine what the appropriate speed would be. The council would like to come up with a more uniform method when it comes to changing speed limits.
The city council also approved the final plat for the Namanny Commercial Development at their meeting last night.
