(Atlantic) The Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds and University of Northern Iowa President Ben Allen will be in Atlantic next month to discuss (STEM) education.
The governor’s Office has announced a series of community conversations featuring science, technology, engineering and math (S.T.E.M.) education and economic development that will take place across the state in November and December.
There are five stops scheduled throughout the state and the one in Atlantic is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. December 11 at the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce Office at 102 Chestnut Street.
The series of community conversations is the second installment. The pair held 14-town hall meetings in September and October seeking feedback on the Governor’s S.T.E.M Advisory Council priorities as the S.T.E.M. initiative continues to build across Iowa.
