(Des Moines) A new poll this week shows an ever so slight lead in Iowa for the Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.
The Rasmussen Research Survey polled 750 Iowa voters on Tuesday and it shows it’s anyone’s race. Republican Mitt Romney garnered 49-percent of the support to 48-percent for President Obama. But, that is well within the polls plus or minus four-percentage point margin of error.
The importance of the state’s six electoral votes is evident by what is going to happen over the final days of the campaign. Paul Ryan is in Cedar Falls today. Mitt Romney and President Obama will both make stops in Dubuque tomorrow…Romney over the noon hour and President Obama late Saturday afternoon.
The Obama campaign also announced the President will end his campaigning next Monday with a stop in Des Moines, accompanied by First Lady Michelle Obama and rock legend Bruce Springsteen.
