(HARLAN) A Council Bluffs man was arrested for 5th degree theft and identity theft.
The Harlan Police Department says Travis Culp, of Harlan, reported to officers that an unknown subject had taken money from his account through an ATM. As a result of the investigation, 23-year-old Ramon Briones was arrested and transported to the Shelby County Jail where he was charged with 5th degree theft and identity theft. Briones was held on an active warrant out of Pottawattamie County.
In other activity, 19-year-old Kaitlyn Stessman, of Harlan, was arrested and charged with two counts of forgery after Andrea Petersen, of Harlan, reported to officers that some of her checks had been forged and cashed at local businesses.
