(Hamburg) Three people were hurt in a single vehicle accident on Interstate 29 in Fremont County Tuesday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says 68-year-old Betty Brown, of Omaha, Nebraska was southbound near the five mile marker in the right hand lane, when her 1995 Toyota Camry began to drift into the left lane. Brown over corrected and the vehicle lost control and entered the west ditch and rolled several times. One of the passengers identified as 78-year-old Juanita Jackson, of Kansas City, Missouri was ejected from the vehicle. She was airlifted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Two other passengers were also hurt. Georgia Reese, 78, and Fannie Morrison, 68, both from Sacramento, California were hurt in the accident. They were both transported by Hamburg Rescue to Grape Community Hospital.
