(Audubon) The Audubon City Council held their regularly scheduled meeting last night.
The Council approved a pay raise to one of their Public Works employees.
Todd Lawshe will receive a fifty cent per hour increase in pay. The council also urged the public to make sure trees are trimmed over the sidewalks in proper compliance with city regulations. Mayor Sam Kaufman updated the council about the airport resurfacing project. It is expected to be fully completed within the next two to three weeks. The Mayor also relayed to the council that the trick or treating date and time has been set for October 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Council member John Whetzal was given the green light to look into prices for tablets. Whetzal noted that the city of Denison recently purchased tablets to save on paper, supplies, and time.
