(Atlantic) For the second straight year an Atlantic Non-Profit Organization has been recognized as one of Iowa’s Top Workplaces.
Cass Incorporated once again has landed in the top ten for the Small Employers category according to WorkplaceDynamics, LLP. Employees are surveyed and the results show that Cass Inc ranks #8 among organizations that employ 35-149 people. The ranking is based on several different categories including meaningfulness of work where Cass Incorporated ranks #1 for the second year in a row.
“And that's just huge to me because that tells you that their heart and soul are here and they are gettting as much benefit out of being here as the people we serve.”
Says CEO Glenda Farrier who believes the honor will benefit Cass Inc in the future.
"I think that would be a great draw for people that are wanting to find a super place to work. If I were looking for a job and I found out there was an employer that had received this award twice I would think 'Wow! I would like to be a part of that.' I think it's probably also a validation to our funders and legislators and families that we are doing the right things for the right reasons."
Cass Incorporated provides community support services for people with disabilities. They have been in business for 35 years and employ 90 people.
