(Audubon) A Guthrie County woman pled guilty Monday to writing a bad check at an Audubon business.
According to the press release 64-year-old Ada Jo Carter, of Coon Rapids was taken into custody on Saturday, September 8, at around 9:30 p.m. on an outstanding Audubon County warrant for 5th degree theft. The charges stem from a check written on May 16, 2012 to an Audubon business.
Carter was transported to the Audubon County Jail and later released. She appeared in front of the magistrate yesterday, (Monday), where she pled guilty and was fined.
