(New Market) A Taylor County man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Page County Sunday afternoon.
According to the Page County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Chad Jeffrey Newberg, of New Market, was airlifted from the scene by Life net Helicopter to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Terry James Dammann, of Clarinda, was taken by Shenandoah EMS to the Shenandoah Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Authorities say Damman was parked on the side of the road on a telephone call when he was rear ended by a 2000 Mercury Cougar driven by Newberg. Damman was driving a 2012 Ford F150 pickup pulling a trailer and a golf cart.
