(SHELBY) The 30th Annual Carstens Farm Days is underway this weekend in Shelby.
Carstens Farm features steam engines powering antique threshing machines, a parade, crafts, entertainment, antique tractors, a quilt show, and plenty of food.
A pancake breakfast will be held both days beginning at 6:30 a.m. Proceeds from the breakfast go to the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department. The fire department will also serve lunch both days. A Staley’s Chicken dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. tonight. Proceeds from the dinner will go toward on-going maintenance at the Farmstead.
The original Carstens farm buildings will be open for tours as well. Admission is $5 per day for everyone nine years and older. For more information, visit carstensfarm.com
