(Atlantic) A Cherokee, Iowa man is being returned to Cass County on numerous charges including Attempted Murder.
The Atlantic Police Department says 38-year-old Timothy Russell was arrested Monday for Public Intoxication, Willful Injury, and Assault with Willful Injury. He was taken to the Cass County Jail and released by a magistrate Judge.
According to the report, Russell was asked to leave an Atlantic residence and later returned to that same residence with a hammer and a sharp object, and allegedly assaulted one of the residents with the sharp object injuring the victim.
Timothy Russell is being returned to Cass County on Attempted Murder Charges and will be held on $100,000 bond.
