(ESSEX) Three people were cited for Alcohol under Legal Age in Page County Friday.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office says at around 10:46 p.m., Deputies were called to a field in Section 20 of Pierce Township, approximately 2.5 miles west of Essex, north of the Pierce Creek County Park campground, for suspicious activity. When Deputies arrived at the pond they observed a bonfire and a large group of people who started to run away. Deputies began a foot pursuit and made contact with some of the group.
Following the investigation, 18-year-old Mitchell Dale Steinkuehler and 19-year-old Nicholas Tyler Allely, of Shenandoah were cited for Alcohol under Legal Age. 19-year-old Tyler Wayne Miller, of Imogene, was cited for Possession of Alcohol under Legal Age and was arrested for Interference with Official Acts. Miller posted $300 bond and was released.
There were other individuals found at the scene that were not consuming alcohol and they were not charged.
