(Red Oak) A Glenwood man was jailed Saturday afternoon on numerous charges in Montgomery and Mills County.
A Montgomery County Deputy observed 25-year-old Miles Ryan Pein, of Glenwood heading westbound on 210th Street traveling at a speed of 81-miles per hour in a 55-mph zone. The pickup was swerving all over the road just before Pein lost control and wrecked into the south ditch near 1351 210th Street. Pein attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended a short distance from the scene.
Authorities arrested Pein on several traffic offenses and two-Mills County warrants for 1st Degree Theft and 2nd Degree Arson. He is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on the charges and will be turned over to Mills County on their charges.
