(HAMBURG) Authorities are searching for a man who robbed the Great Western Bank in Hamburg Monday.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says at around 9:25 a.m., a male, approximately 30 years old, entered the Great Western Bank and demanded that a plastic bag be filled with money. No weapon was displayed. The subject then left the bank and ran south with an undisclosed amount of money.
The subject is described as approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, 175 lbs with a dark complexion. He was wearing a white visor, aviator style sunglasses, a white t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Through witness accounts and surveillance footage, it has been determined that the suspect was possibly driving a dark green, mid 90’s model Cadillac, four-door with a tan vinyl top. The vehicle was last seen turning south onto I-29 at the Hamburg exit shortly after the incident.
