(EARLING) Two Council Bluffs men will have pre-trial hearings on Monday in connection with the theft of an ATM machine from the Farmer’s Trust and Savings Bank in Earling in April.
Thirty four year old Robert Edie and 19-year-old Patrick Eggerling face charges of 1st Degree Theft, 3rd Degree Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property and Burglary Tools, and 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief. Edie and Eggerling are accused of pulling an ATM out of the bank with a log chain and loading it into their vehicle and taking off. Edie and Eggerling were arrested following a pursuit through Harrison and Pottawattamie counties that ended in a crash. The vehicle the two men were in had also been stolen.
Edie will have a hearing/motion for discovery on June 25th and trial dates for both men have been set for July 10th.
