(DES MOINES) The internet giant Google is expanding its operations in Iowa.
Governor Terry Branstad was on hand in Council Bluffs for the announcement.
“Google is making their second big investment in Council Bluffs, it’s another $300 million investment and 50 really good jobs, this on top of the $600 million investment they made just five years ago,” said Branstad.
The new site will be just south of Google’s existing Council Bluffs site. The company received 9.6 million dollars in State tax breaks for the Council Bluffs expansion.
