(RED OAK) A stolen motorcycle was recovered following a joint investigation between the Montgomery and Cass County Sheriff’s Offices.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says at approximately 9:46 a.m. on Saturday, the Montgomery County Communications Center received a report of a motorcycle in the ditch near the intersection of 260th and Willow Avenue, east of Villisca. Upon Deputies arrival and investigation, with assistance from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies learned that the motorcycle had been stolen from a residence in Cass County near Cumberland.
The motorcycle, a 2007 Yamaha YZF-R6S, owned by Dayton Michael Amdor of Cumberland, was found lying in the ditch with approximately $1,500 damage. The vehicle was towed for evidentiary purposes and the joint investigation is ongoing.
