(CLARINDA) A Westboro, Missouri man was arrested faces numerous charges after fleeing from a traffic stop in Page County.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office says at around 12:17 a.m. on Sunday, a Deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 2 near G Avenue, approximately 5 miles east of Shenandoah, for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, the driver; 43-year-old Robert Ray Tysor, exited the vehicle and began to run north through a field on foot. After a short foot pursuit, the Deputy caught Tysor and arrested him.
Tysor’s charges at this time include Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, Interference with Official Acts, and Failure to have a Valid License to Operate a Motor Vehicle. Tysor posted bond and was released from the Page County Jail pending court proceedings.
Page County Deputies were assisted by an Officer with the Shenandoah Police Department in the foot pursuit.
