(Red Oak) A Red Oak woman is charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident at an apartment in Red Oak Saturday night.
Red Oak Police say, 25-year-old Kathi Lehman of Red Oak is accused of stabbing 49-year-old Patrick James Colebank, of Red Oak in an incident that allegedly occurred at 2400 North 8th Street, apartment #42.
Red Oak Police responded to the call around 10:58 p.m. When they arrived they found Colebank had a stab wound in the upper left side. The investigation revealed that Lehman became involved in a confrontation with Colebank, resulting in the stabbing.
Colebank was transported by Red Oak Rescue to the Montgomery Memorial Hospital where he was immediately transported by medical helicopter to Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.
Kathi Renee Lehman was arrested and charged with Attempt to commit Murder, a Class B Felony, and 2-counts of Child Endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor.
The Red Oak Police Department continues with their investigation.
