(Council Bluffs) The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s office has recorded yet another major drug arrest.
The arrest occurred yesterday afternoon. Pottawattamie Count Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy John Reynolds provides KSOM/KS95.7 news with the details.
"Deputy Brian Miller stopped a vehicle on I-80 Eastbound at the 8 mile marker at 14:42 hours. The vehicle was occupied and being driven by a John Rolle, who was 41-years-of age from River Pines, California.”
The vehicle was initially stopped for excessive speeding.
"Probable cause was established to believe that the individual in the vehicle was involved in criminal activity. A subsequent free air sniff by Deputy Miller's dog Francesco unconvered 3 bags containing 22 pounds of marijuana."
41-year-old John Rolle of River Pines, California was booked into the Pottawattamie County for Possession with Intent, a Tax Stamp Violation, and Prohibited Acts.
