(Audubon) U.S Water Service’s is offering an incentive to Audubon City Officials if they will renew their contract for five more years.
Aaron Voss, representative for the company appeared in front of the Audubon City Council Monday night. Voss offered the 2011 water service cutback rate for the remainder of the year in exchange for the city’s commitment to U.S. Water Services for another five-year contract. In 2011, the U.S. Water Service rate was $13,107.00 per month. The 2010 rate was $12,787.00. The City Council did not make a decision.
In other business, Laurie Gilbert of Region XII of Council of Governments implementing the city’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program, is offering two houses for demo at 202 and 203 Tracy Streets.
