(COUNCIL BLUFFS) A Pennsylvania man was arrested on drug charges following a drug bust on Interstate 80 in Pottawattamie County Friday.
The Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Joshua Ampolsk, of Wynnewood, has been charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Prohibited Acts, and a Drug Tax Stamp. He was transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail where he was later released on $5,000 bond.
Deputy Miller stopped Ampolsk near the 5 mile marker on I-80 at around 1:00. Deputy Miller became suspicious and asked for permission to search the vehicle, but Ampolsk refused. Miller’s drug dog was then employed and indicated narcotics. With probable cause, the deputy searched the vehicle. Around 61 pounds of marijuana and around 2 pounds of Hashish were found.
