(ANITA) The CAM Community School District’s Board of Education is having discussions with a national company about the possibility of a partnership to create a K-12 full-time online learning school in Iowa.
The proposal would be to create a second school in the CAM District that would serve K-12 students across Iowa in an online program. The CAM Community Schools would continue to operate under their current status, and the online program would operate independently of CAM’s current programs. CAM students could possibly have access to online classes that are not currently offered in the curriculum.
Further discussion will be held at a special board meeting on Thursday night at 6:30 at the CAM High School media center. A representative from Connections Education will present information to the board.
