(Red Oak) Three people were injured in a single vehicle accident Sunday morning near Red Oak.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, 73-year-old Goldie Ann Adams, of Red Oak was westbound on Highway 34, a half mile west of Red Oak. Adams lost control while crossing the East Nishnabotna River bridge, due to the icy roadway, the car slid into the south ditch. The passenger side tire caught the ground and caused the vehicle to roll once coming to rest on it's wheels.
Goldie Ann Adams and two passengers, 81-year- Mamie Cathern Forward and 58-year-old, Catherin Marie Forward, all of Red Oak sustained injuries and all were transported by Red Oak Rescue to Montgomery County Memorial Hospital.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office did not release any information on the extent of their injuries.
