(ONAWA) A Blencoe man was injured after he was struck by a vehicle in Monona County this morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says at around 2:05 a.m. a verbal altercation occurred in the alley behind Sudds and Juggs bar. A backseat passenger of a 2004 Chevy Tahoe, identified as 44-year-old Kimberly Heberer of Sergeant Bluff, moved into the driver’s seat and backed up the vehicle. Heberer struck 25-year-old Manuel Anton, who was standing behind the vehicle.
Anton was transported to Mercy Hospital in Sioux City by Burgess Ambulance.
