(GRISWOLD) The Griswold School is getting ready to look at some larger maintenance projects.
Superintendent Dana Kunze says they are going to have a financial statement review done by Piper Jaffrey that will help the board pick out which projects they want to address first.
“Some of those projects would include a new parking lot, a new roof for the High School building and some lighting our sports fields,” said Kunze. “Those are some of the projects that are probably going to be up first.”
Kunze said early estimates show that the roof and parking lot projects came in at just over one million dollars each. “Those are definitely things that we can’t get within a yearly budget so we have to make sure that we are planning long term on those,” said Kunze.
Currently the Griswold School is wrapping up a project that includes putting in some new entry doors and windows around the door.
