(Harlan) Three Harlan juveniles face numerous charges this week for leaving obscene pictures on porches, and allegedly egging a house.
According to the press release, 14-year-old Levi Preston, 13-year-old Bryan Wilke, and 14-year-old Zachary Powers, all of Harlan were taken into custody Monday.
Preston was charged with Harrassment, and Wilke and Powers were charged with Accessory after the fact. The three boys were charged with criminal mischief for allegedly throwing eggs at a house earlier in the afternoon.
The three boys were cited and released to their parents. The case is being referred to Juvenile Court Services.
In other activity, 18-year-old Sarah Caswell was arrested on an active Shelby County Warrant November 10, for 3rd degree burglary in connection with an incident last summer at 412 Durant Street. Caswell was transported to the Shelby County Jail. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Harlan Police arrested 47-year-old Karla Moeller, of Westphalia following a traffic stop Saturday. Moeller was arrested on active warrants out of Shelby and Carroll Counites and taken to the Shelby County Jail.
Harlan police arrested a suspect Monday for an alleged burglary. According to the report, 20-year-old Winston (Joe) Leal, of Harlan, was taken into custody on an active Shelby County warrant for the alleged burglary at 411 6th Street earlier this month. Leal was taken to the Shelby County Jail where he was also charged with Interference with Official Acts.
