(CORNING) One person was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance on Certain Real Property and two counts of Child Endangerment following a traffic stop and search on Sunday.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Ringgold County and Taylor county Sheriff’s Offices, conducted Highway Interdiction along Highway 34. Deputy Arends and K-9 Murphey of the Ringgold County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Denise Carder. While conducting an interview with Carder, information was received about possession of a controlled substance located at the residence of Carder and Martin Grace. Carder gave consent to search her residence to Chief Deputy Miller, which resulted in the finding of a controlled substance.
Martin Grace, who was currently being detained and investigated on an OWI by Deputy ARends during that time, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance by Chief Deputy Miller. The case is still under investigation.
