(Harlan) The Harlan Police Department released their weekly police report Thursday. According to the report two people were arrested and two accidents, both non-injury accidents were investigated.
Police say 33-year-old Robin Hensel, of Harlan was charged with Driving Under Suspencion on October 13 as the result of a traffic stop. In a separate incident, 48-year-old Christina Hansen, of Harlan, was arresed October 15 following a traffic stop, for Driving Under Suspencion, Operating a Non-registered vehicle, and for Failure to Prove Security against Liability.
Harlan Police report two non-injury accidents. On October 3, Anita Dargy, of Harlan, was cited after the vehicle she was driving rear-ended another vehicle driven by Adam Phifer, of Harlan, in the 100 block of Chatburn Avenue. Dargy was cited for Failure to come to a complete stop in an assured clear distance.
The other non-injury accident occurred on October 5. Kaitlyn Ladehoff, of Templeton, collided with Peggy Ahrenholtz, of Manilla at an uncontrolled intersection at 9th and Laurel Street. According to the report, Ladehoff's car came to rest after spinning around 180-degrees. Ladehoff was cited for Failure to Yield to the Vehicle to the right.
