(COUNCIL BLUFFS) A Council Bluffs woman was sentenced to prison for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.
On Friday, United States District Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced 35-year-old Terra Jo Wilson to 120 months imprisonment and ordered her to serve a seven year term of supervised release following incarceration.
On June 30, 2011, Wilson entered a guilty plea to the charge of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine based on evidence that she was distributing methamphetamine, along with four other people, in the Council Bluffs area. During a six month investigation by law enforcement, it was determined that Wilson had assisted co-defendant Scott Dilley in distributing over 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine. Scott Dilley was sentenced by Judge Jarvey to 200 months on August 11, 2011.
The investigation was conducted by the Southwest Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Pottawattamie County Attorney’s Office, and the case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
