(MISSOURI VALLEY) A man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in Harrison County this morning.
Harrison County Sheriff Patrick Sears told KSOM/KS95 that at around 5:45 a.m. an officer stopped to check on a vehicle parked on the side of the interstate at the 76 mile marker. The officer found a man in the ditch with a single gun-shot wound to the chest.
Sheriff Sears says the man was transported to Alegent Hospital by Missouri Valley Rescue and then transported to Creighton Medical Center via life flight with life-threatening injuries. Sheriff Sears says he does not have an updated condition report at this time and the man’s name has not been released.
