(Des Moines) The State of Iowa got another high mark on a national study...but this one is probably not one that officials will hold "Dear."
State Farm Insurance Monday released a report that says Iowa drivers have a one in 77 chance of hitting a deer in the next year. That plus the Hawkeye state is number two in the states most likely to have vehicle collisions with a deer. And the biggest chance of hitting a deer they says is next month. That's when they say "a confrontation" between a driver and a deer will take place every five seconds.
