(ATLANTIC) The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Lunch & Learn for all interested parties (members and non-members) on Tuesday, October 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the historic Rock Island Depot. Speaking will be Bob Clements, a business coach from the E-Myth business development system. Clements has been a practicing business attorney, bank counsel, Chamber of Commerce president, and consultant and is now a trained and certified Senior E-Myth Coach.
The philosophy of E-Myth focuses on designing businesses that work for the owner. E-Myth has been coaching businesses toward success for more than 30 years. This seminar is based on the best-selling book by Michael E. Gerber, The E-Myth Revisited; Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It. The book was named the #1 favorite book of the CEO’s of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing private companies.
The seminar will ask business owners to question everything they think they know about business, to consider that their experience may be their worst teacher instead of their best, and to ponder that they have been doing the wrong work and getting the same results over and over.
Tickets include lunch and are $20 for Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce members and $30 for non-members. Those interested can RSVP by Oct. 7 to Nicky Christensen at the Chamber (firstname.lastname@example.org or 712-243-3017).
