SHELBY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SET PUBLIC HEARING
(Harlan) A public hearing has been set for 9:00 Monday morning in the Shelby County Supervisors office.
The hearing will allow for public comments on the issue of Farm Service Coop’s plans to construct new chemical and equipment storage buildings as well as office space in rural Shelby County. While a hearing is not required, the board decided to give the public a chance to express concerns.
Shelby County Board of Supervisors Chairman James Burmeister says, “The complaints lawyer came into the auditor’s office and made a complaint so that’s why we chose to have a time period for complaints or interested people to come forth to the board.”
