(Red Oak) Red Oak City Officials are working on developing a Downtown Improvement Master Plan. Red Oak City Administrator Brad Wright says the new plan would include new sidewalks, lighting, entryway areas, signage, and beyond.
“We have had some good things happen in our downtown the last couple of years and some property owners have taken on some projects and made some good improvements,” stated Wright. “As a city we just want to do our part and help that downtown square area prosper.”
Wright says the next step is to develop an action committee. “We just want to get more people involved and hear their input.”
Wright says a survey is available on the City’s website for community input. There is also a link www.downtownredoak.com with information from presentations and new information as provided.
