(Greenfield) The Greenfield City Council approved a sponsored Waste Water Treatment stream project to the Greenfield Sports Complex. Steve Soupier from Fox Engineering discussed the plan with the Council on Monday.
“They have 60-percent of their plans into the DNR, and more work to do on some easements,” said Greenfield City Clerk Becky Haase. “Hopefully the project starts next spring and will be completed sometime next year.”
In other activity; the City Council renewed the Cities Health Insurance Plan with Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In addition to that; the Council approved a contract with DMACC for the Waste Water Treatment Operator studying for his Grade 3 exam.
The Council also approved the Street Improvement project to Godberson and Smith Construction from Ida Grove for $ $1,263, 922.50. Haase says the project is scheduled to start in May of 2020 with completion at the end of August.
